INDUSTRIAL SALES REPRESENTATIVE
We are currently seeking an experienced and dynamic salesperson to maintain our existing client base and drive expansion within the industrial sector. You will utilize your in-depth understanding of various manufacturing processes, such as: machining, fabrication, sheet metal operations, and assembly work, to effectively communicate the value of our services to potential clients. Resourcefulness in identifying customers who can benefit from our services will be key to your success.
To be considered for this role, candidates must demonstrate a strong background in outside sales and possess comprehensive knowledge of manufacturing processes. Please emphasize your experience in these areas in your cover letter to ensure that it receives proper attention during the application process.
In addition to a competitive base salary, this position offers a commission-based compensation structure. Exceeding your sales quotas will result in additional earnings.

MECHANICAL ENGINEER / DESIGN
We are looking for an enthusiastic, self-starting machine designer/engineer/drafter familiar with metal fabrication to join our team. This position is a 50/50 mix of designing new products and maintaining, and updating, old designs.
Qualifications / Requirements:
• Proficiency in Autodesk Inventor. You will model a part and create drawings as part of your interview.
• 4 year degree in mechanical or agricultural engineering or related field required
• Familiarity in 2D AutoCAD, for maintenance of legacy drawings
• Machine design experience
• Farming or farm equipment experience a plus
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent organization skills
• Consistent attention to detail
• BOM and Routings
• Knowledge in welding, machining, and fabrication processes
• Knowledge in electronics and hydraulics

INTERMEDIATE CNC MACHINIST
We are a small machine shop that makes parts and components for our custom farm equipment, plus runs of parts for outside customers. This role requires a diverse machining background and ability to multitask. Due to the diverse nature of our machining work and equipment, our machine shop team members must be versed in manual equipment as well as CNC equipment—and be able to produce quality parts in both large and small quantities.
Qualifications / Requirements:
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and drawings
• Experience using a variety of machine equipment and procedures
• Experience using electrical and manual tools (saws, grinders, drills, etc.)
• Good knowledge and ability to read/understand G Code.
• Knowledge of shop and machine safety standards, and use of protective gear and clothing
• Forklift experience
• Ability to multitask and work without excessive supervision
• Must be dependable and capable for working overtime hours when necessary
• Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of employees and across departments (engineering, sales, management, team members, etc.)
• Ability to effectively communicate with non-Kennco employees: contractors, machine repair techs, tooling vendors, etc.
• 2+ years CNC multi-axis machining experience
• Experience in set-up and operations of CNC machines
• Demonstrate understanding of a variety of CNC machining operations including milling and turning
• Ability to complete tasks and assignments within allotted times
• Willing to learn from other team members, and attend training seminars to further understanding of machine functions and programming.
Responsibilities:
• Setup, change tooling, and build fixtures when necessary
• Operate machines to perform different jobs on conventional, and CNC, lathe and vertical milling machines.
• Perform first article and in-process inspections using necessary gauges and verify parts are to print.
• Ensure the CNC machine operates in accordance with the guidelines of the company.
• Check machinery on a daily basis to guarantee functionality.
• Perform general maintenance on machines.
• Communicate any machine issues to management.
• Communicate any part-making issues to management
• Ability to successfully collaborate with team members (sales/engineering/management/team members) to facilitate completion of assignments.

ASSEMBLY TECHNICIAN
Qualifications / Requirements:
• Must have a safe work history.
• High School, GED, or Vocational Training is preferred; but several years of experience will be strongly considered

• Mechanically inclined
• Must be quality minded
• Must have a “sense of urgency”, “take charge personality”, and be able to interact with individuals at all levels of the company
• Must have forklift experience
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds shoulder high.
• Must have personal tools including air driven tools
Responsibilities:
• Build and test equipment according to blueprints
• Troubleshoot any problems
• Ability to successfully collaborate with team members (sales/engineering/management/team members) to facilitate completion of assignments.
• Use basic power tools

FACILITIES MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN
A Facilities Maintenance Technician, is responsible for conducting basic equipment maintenance checks and making repairs, making deliveries, cleaning, taking inventory of cleaning supplies and tools, and basic lawn care.
Qualifications / Requirements:
• Clean driving record
• Ability to drive a pickup truck and trailer safely. CDL a plus.
• Must have a safe work history.
• High School, GED, or Vocational Training is preferred; but several years of experience will be strongly considered
• Solid work history and references, showing reliability and dependability
• Mechanically inclined
• Must be quality minded
• Must have a “sense of urgency”, “take charge personality”, and be able to interact with individuals at all levels of the company
• Must have forklift experience
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds shoulder high.
Responsibilities:
• Drive company pickup truck and trailer for deliveries.
• Fill fork lifts with propane and perform weekly, basic maintenance
• Maintain grounds with lawn care and landscaping
• Clean workshops and office bathrooms, and restock supplies
• Maintain cleanliness of shop by sweeping and removing trash
• Move equipment with forklift
• Miscellaneous maintenance tasks when needed, such as: changing light bulbs, air filters, etc.
• Keep documents of inspections and problems
• Keep an inventory of cleaning and repair supplies
