Stakes represent a large investment for any vegetable crop that uses them. It is important to minimize breakage and maximize the life of the stake. Our stake puller does exactly that. It uses a double chain conveyer that is timed to match the tractor speed. It grabs the stake and pulls it vertically from the soil without breaking it. Once it is pulled from the soil, it is transported and dropped into a hopper for bundling. After it is bundled, the hopper can deposit the bundle at the side of the field. Our stake puller will create 1,000 stake bundles and carries its own hydraulic reservoir to minimize reliance on the tractor’s system. Customized row centers and stake sizes are available. You will find that a stake puller pays for itself in a single season with the speed it can pull stakes and reduced stake breakage.
