Sprayer Chassis And Tank Options
Printable Catalog Page (opens a new window)

The place to start specifying a Kennco sprayer is the chassis and tanks. We offer a variety of different sizes, from a 200 gallon (758 L) three-point hitch sprayer to a 1500 gallon (5,685 L) towed sprayer. 1200 is our most popular size.

Standard features include:

• Frames and chassis are galvanized and have oversized axles. Single axles are standard. Dual-wheel walking beam axles are available as an option.

• Includes a catwalk on one side for easy, safe access to the top of the tank. (Additional catwalks are available.)

• Quick-coupled snorkel fill for tank filling is standard.

• Towed sprayers have flotation tires on 6 ft (1.8 m) row centers. Tires are 15 in (38 cm) wide, and give our sprayers an 18 in (46 cm) clearance height. In some production systems, our standard flotation tires are too wide to pass between planting beds freely. We offer a narrow profile tire option for this purpose. The narrow tire raises the sprayer for a clearance of about 24 in (60 cm) and leaves a footprint in the soil about 10 in (25 cm) wide.

• Towed sprayers include a 9,000-lb capacity jack stand.

• Tanks are of fiberglass construction. (Poly tanks are available upon request.)

• Mechanical agitation using a stainless steel shaft and paddles is standard in our tanks. Additional agitation is provided by an eductor nozzle installed onto the bypass line which recirculates flow to the tank. See page 39 for more information on agitation.
