Our standard bedding disks mount on a 2¼ in (5.7 cm) standard tool bar, such as our BP645 tool carrier. They are positioned on the bar to match your desired row centers. The BP645 tool carrier can carry as many as three sets of bedding disks to raise false beds as narrow as 48 in (1.2 m) row centers or as wide as 72 in (1.8 m). It is also very common to mount bedding disks on a superbedder. In heavier soil conditions, or with wide planting beds, growers may find that they have trouble filling the center of the bed. A set of bedding disks mounted on the front tool bar of the superbedder help move soil into the center of the bed, ensuring that it is solid and filled from side to side. Our bedding disks are extremely rugged and versatile. Their height in relation to the tool carrier can be adjusted vertically in addition to full 180° rotation. The angle of the blade can be adjusted too. They are constructed of massive steel castings with cross trussing for support.
