Powerbedders - 1

| Proper soil preparation is extremely important in order
to shape a perfect planting bed. Some soil types do not lend themselves to
perfect bed formation because they clod or harden very easily. A powerbedder
is a useful tool that tills the soil and shapes a pressed planting bed at
the same time. The tillers are powered by the tractors PTO shaft. Our
powerbedder is more than just a tillage tool with a shaper mounted to it.
It is an extremely rugged piece of equipment that forms a tight, pressed
planting bed.
Some options that are useful tools in conjunction with powerbedders are row markers and chop gates. Our row markers are described in detail here. They allow the operator to maintain accurate spacing between planting beds as he moves through the field. Available Options: |

| Press pans for powerbedders are sold separately. All standard powerbedders fit a standard three-point Category II hitch. Custom row centers are available upon customer request. Press pan dimensions must be specified by the customer. All powerbedders are manufactured to work the soil at a level even with the base of the bed. Other depths are available upon customer request. Although many of the attachments we manufacture for our equipment will attach to our powerbedders, we do not recommend their use due to machine vibration and tractor horsepower limitations. It is the customers responsibility to make sure their tractor horsepower is satisfactory for their equipment. Call our sales department for weights and dimensions. | ||
